We wanted
to share Vietnamese cuisine with locals and tourists visiting Steveston Harbour.

Mr. Tang moved from Vietnam to Vancouver in 1996. His passion for food led him to open his first restaurant in Kelowna in 2004. That restaurant, Hoang Gia Vietnamese Cuisine, is now run by his three children, who also opened Kasai Teppanyaki Steak & Sushi House.

With over 22 years of cooking experience, he brought his love for Vietnamese cuisine to Steveston, where he opened his new restaurant on November 19, 2019. Steveston’s charm — the water, the ships, and the vibrant community, made it the perfect place to welcome locals and tourists.

His popular dishes include all the pho varieties, wonton soup, and his signature chicken lemongrass noodle bowl. Mr. Tang is proud to serve authentic Vietnamese flavours in a neighbourhood he loves.
